“Le us go, countryland, to walk together…” read this year’s motto to celebrate the 15th May Pilgrimage in Holguin.
Holguin’s May Pilgrimage, a yearly Festival held from May 2 to 9, embraces colorful parades, paintig and photography exhibits, crowded concerts, theater acts, performances, galas, theoretical events and literary and trouvadore gatherings. It is a 18th century tradicional Festivity rescued in the 20th century sponsored by the Saiz Brothers Association (Cuban Young Artist Association (AHS in Spanish)) and The Cuban Young Communist League (UJC).
