The symphony orchestras of Oriente and Holguín got together at the opening concert of the 23rd edition of the Concert Music Festival underway in Holguin at the La Marqueta square. The two noted institutions played for an audience eager to enjoy the program which was previously presented at the Dolores Hall in Santiago de Cuba.
The overture of “Romeo and Juliet” by Piort Tchaikovsky conducted by maestro Orestes Saavedra (Holguín), and Symphony 5, Opus 47 by Shostakovich, by Cosette Justo Vega, born in San German, Holguin and leader of the Orchestra Symphonic of Oriente delighted the audience despite unusual delay because of the audio and quality of its sound.
